Time has been flying by and you have most of the major wedding day decisions made. So what should you be focusing on at the three month mark? Here's a lil list below that will keep you on track!

  1. Depending on your wedding timeline, this is when many sources say to mail out your invitations. If you haven't yet, that should be top priority. On the flip side, if you previously mailed them to your loved ones, this is the time to follow up with invited guests who haven’t RSVP’d, to get your final headcount.

  2. Speaking of invitations, this may also be a good time to get your wedding shower and bachelorette party invitations in the works. I know your friends and family should be planning these, but make them aware of what timeline you’d like, again, to accommodate out of town travelers. As an adult, most of my close friends and family don’t live in my city, so they need more time to plan for these occasions. Begin creating the guest lists with your planner, choosing a location, time, & theme, passing along all contact info for invitees, and having your planner look into invitations–either making them or buying them.

  3. Three months out is also the perfect time to do your hair and make-up trial runs. This gives you and your stylists enough time to pivot to something new if you aren’t a fan. The artists may be able to make adjustments there, at the trial appointment. But in many situations you will have to book an entirely new trial run appointment to test out the changes. You definitely don’t want to feel rushed by a short timeline, when this is your look for the BIG DAY.

  4. Due to busy schedules, you will want to think about booking any pre-wedding appointments now, to get on your person’s schedule a few weeks before the wedding. You never know how far they are booking out. What appointments am I referring to? Things like waxing, tanning, nails, hair cuts or color (brave of you!), final fittings, etc.

  5. If you are looking to do gifts for the wedding party or welcome bags for guests, get these started now. All the big wedding decisions have been made so you can focus a little more on how to show your appreciation to your loved ones.
